After some posts, I am back with my business.
Stupidity is really at its best in my hometown. You may surely ask me this question, What is new about this city as it always has something with it to talk about. The reason for posting this topic is that, the condition is changing from
bad to worse......
Ok ok, I will tell you what is the issue, the tremendous performance of our
men in Kakhi especially when the (so called) VIP's travel somewhere. I really
don know with what kind of urgency they travel, but being the citizen of this country we have to wait till these people pass by. Is this a punishment for us
for electing them? I really don't understand the concept of leading the people without living the life of a normal citizen. How will they know about the
difficulties faced by the commuters and the motorists everyday by travelling in
an airconditioned car with regulated traffic. My mom use to say that
M.G.R(then chief minister) use to wait for the signal even when he was the CM of TN. Why don't the present day VIP's follow it.
Where ever we go, we can hear special entry, special quota, special ticket,
special food. Whatmade them so special, their education or their open service to
people? They use to sit in airconditioned room and eat high quality food and
they will talk about the poverty and unemploynment. Can anyone show wards of
VIP's searching for jobs. Our then president ("The greatest scientist of our country") stayed alone in his house and he also locked all the kitchens except one(where the food is cooked for him and all the employees there). He showed that much equality even when he was the first citizen of our country. He came out of the president's house with a single suitcase... Isn't he great. Why cant others follow him. I really don't know why people feel so difficult to live a
normal citizen's life when they come to a post. Does the post give them two
horns or what? But one thing is sure, we can talk many topics relating to it or
even movies can be directed as Director Shankar always do, but nothing could
be changed as we wish. We should take it as our fate to see all this and respect
these people who really don deserve what they get............
Cheers!!!!!

When Mr. APJ came here, there were traffic hold ups.
They claim: The reason they block traffic is cos' a VIP in traffic becomes a soft target for terrorist attacks. I accept this, a VIP in rush hour traffic is a sitting duck for a gunman.
My point: Why does their life bear so much value ?
But then there is also another point of view, the reason they are targets (and not you or me) is cos' we put them there (their work doesn't really matter here), so we need to accept the small hardships that are caused due to these politicians cos' they do public work(?)..
Cheers..
The cost and trouble that will be incurred if a leader in power gets killed will be too much (all the idai therthals, banth and accompanied destruction)....so it is ok to put up with such blocks in traffic....however the only thing that irks is the attitude shown towards the general public....as though they are of no worth at all...but if u see then mostly it's not the doing of the politicians rather it is becoz of the over-excited, favor-expecting, drooling-over-power accessory's....the politicians in the long run gets used to such adoration as part of the power package!
I think both of you missed to read the sentence which said about M.G.R.
@Guru & Ela: Cant they use bullet proof cars and travel in an ordinarily looking car rather than creating scene and awareness about their travel.
(If they please the public then who is going to kill them).
Cheers!!!!!
We're talking about the age of IED's. What difference would bulletproofing make when a few hundred kgs of shrapnel is thrown at the car from a road side IED ?
Terrorists use more than guns these days .. In fact i can go on and describe every popular weapon used by them right here. How ? Wikipedia ;) I read up everything on weapons and arms, thats how obsessed i'm with Military equipment. Even you should .. Its awesome ;)

Thats fine guru, my point is, If the (so called) VIP's do their job in a correct manner, why are they going to be killed. Also if they live a normal man's life then its difficult for even the terrorists to isolate them....
I am not only talking about the traffic issues. Do see the later part of the post.........
I just ask why are they so special when they are good for nothing...
Cheers!!!
Yaya...u r asking for a fairy tale stuff now....Yeap, I agree MGR is kind of a legend now....when i was a child, i use to listen all those stories circulated among the grown ups about his charismatic character...yes, i do believe that he had a character which could not be matched by anyone now..even by his then arch rival, now living CM Mr.Karunanidhi! The problem with legends is that they become legends in the first place becoz they set very high standards in comparison to the normal people. And unfortunately we have only normal people becoming politicians these days.
@Ela: I am not asking to change everything overnight, but I want atleast a stride forward in treating comman man as a human being atleast.........
I just want to erase that word "special" which is reserved for some people.......
Kabali will get into politics soon. He'll take care of it all.
i can really feel ur agony... sometimes we have to take things has it is... however, in singapore there are no such stuff... a traffic rule is a traffic rule... fo anyone or any vehicle... unless it is an ambulance
Thats why we people keep talking about your country for cleanliness and traffic rules.........
Cheers!!!!!
You can never compare India with any other country.. Even if policies are made, implementation becomes difficult. Reason - Population explosion .. There are just too many people on the streets here ..
Cheers.
@guru: Thats what guru, if politicians doesn't rob of the wealth then no one will be on the streets....
Cheers!!!!!
